Welcome

For more than eight years, I have been honored to serve my community as a member of the College Park City Council. Now, with Sarah's support and the backing of community members, civic and political leaders, small businesspeople, environmentalists, students, and more, I am seeking a seat on the Prince George's County Council to represent District 3. Becoming a member of the Prince George's County Council will provide an opportunity to expand accomplishments that have resulted in a better, more livable College Park.

I am proud of a record that includes building more robust civic engagement, revitalizing our downtown, and attracting new, thriving businesses to our community like "My Organic Market." With my colleagues, I have worked hard to connect our neighborhoods with miles of pedestrian and bike paths, and to ensure that new developments respect the existing community and provide bus service to and from our Metrorail stations. My record also includes leading efforts to crack down on problem properties, poor rental conditions, and litter, and promoting historic preservation, arts and culture programming, and initiatives for responsible stewardship of our environment. I have also partnered with community leaders to make strides in public safety and education.

My vision for Prince George's builds upon these accomplishments, and I am eager to bring my commitment and experience to the County Council. I hope you will join our efforts to demand excellence from our government and make Prince George's County an even better community. Together, we will succeed.
